v The fortress Surami - is located in the northern part of Shida Kartli region , overlooking a rocky cliff at the bank of Suramula River. Fortress area of about 1200 square meters and stands on the cliffs, and consists of 2 parts - upper and lower.
v Monastery Kintsvisi - The monastery complex consists of several buildings. The painting is unique. The history of Kintsvisi Monastery is tightly linked with the most brilliant epoch of the Georgian statehood and culture - the reign of Queen Tamar (1184-1212).
v St. George's Cathedral Samtsevrisi- was built in the VII century and is one of the finest examples of ancient Georgian architecture. This very small cross-domed church impresses visitors with its combination of strict and subtle forms.
v One of the most beautiful lake Bateti lake is located in the Dzama gorge, Kareli munisipality, on the north slope of Trialeti chain, 1313 meters above the sea level. The breadth of the lake is 0.02 sq.km. and depth is 12m. The water is transparent and fresh.
