Kvemo Kartli - is a historic province (region) in southeastern Georgia. The capital of Kvemo Kartli is Rustavi. The landscape of Kvemo Kartli consists largely of steppe and forested steppe. In Kvemo Kartli there are models of legendary early Hominids Zezva and Mzia - named as ,,First Europeans”.

v Dmanisi - is the site of a medieval village located on a promontory at the confluence of the Mashavera and Phinezauri rivers. In Dmanisi you discover Hominid and extinct animal remains and stone tools about of 1.8 million years old.
v Bolnisi Sioni Cathedral - is one of the biggest basilica-type churches in Georgia. the Church has always been dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was built in years 478 - 493. These are one of the oldest historical documents of the Georgian alphabet.
v The Samshvilde’s Nakalakari - is located in the Southern part of Georgia. In the 5th century Samshvilde was such a significant city that it was ruled by the heirs to the throne of Kartli, among them by the father of Vakhtang Gorgasali, who resided in Samshvilde together with his wife before accession to the throne.
v The Algeti National Park - is located in a historical Kvemo Kartli region, in the district of Tetritskaro. The Algeti National Park is characterized by a mountainous relief rugged with great number of small rivers and ravines. In the park territory was found many archeological monuments, which are the earliest Eneolithic and early Bronze Age.
