You have a wonderful opportunity to visit Kutaisi, one of the oldest city in Georgia. It was the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Colchis. There is a humid subtropical climate (Cfa) with a well-defined on-shore/monsoonal flow (characteristic of the Colchis Plain) during the Autumn and Winter months. Kutaisi is surrounded bydeciduousforests to the northeast and the northwest.

v Katskhis Pillar - The monastery complex Katskhi Pillar (Katshis St.) is located in western Georgia, Imereti region, in the municipality of Chiatura. The pillar stands around 40 meters high. The oldest church dates from the 5th century; second church – the 6th century.
v Cable Cars in Chiatura - the city situated in a steep valley used to be an important mining town in the Soviet times. Nowadays you can still visit manganese and coal mines to watch the production process with your own eyes. The cable cars built over 60 years ago are everywhere and they connect every corner of the city.
v Navenakhevi - The village Navenakhevi is located in Terjola district. There is a double storey karst cave formed from limestone and calcium carbonate. There is a wide hall on the second floor; the height of the hall is 15 meters. And the total length of the cave is 200 m. It is opened for tourists.
v Shrosha - is located in Zestafoni District on the bank of the Dzirula River. It is famous for its marble and granite but mostly for its pottery craft. The village is located on the main road connecting Eastern and Western parts of Georgia. Along the main road there is a huge market with an amazing selection of beautiful handcrafted items.
